6 regras sobre produtividade

Our Stuff / posted by in 21 May of 2013

Criativity and execution walk together here at Cafundo Studio. But to get them in harmony, is not as simple as it seems. There are moments when one wants to interfere at another. And if you are not careful, one will always kill each other.

The talk today is about productivity, and we will be listing 6 rules of how to deal with this diva.

#1 –  Transpass hesitation:

regra1

New design, new ideas … new fears. There is a danger of falling into the trap of thinking, dreaming and freak out about your genius idea, incorporating a protective spirit that makes you plan various security points to future unforeseen problems.

My dear: mistakes will happen. Envision a while for them. Accept your destiny, embrace your idea, and just go for it . While prototyping you will get valuable feedback to refine the original idea.

#2 – Small Smart

regra02

When ideas are still in  head, they tend to become colossal concepts. The problem is that this thinking makes it harder to go from action. To avoid the ” colossal paralysis”, bring your idea to put a context of immediate execution. It’s only when you get this idea to climb a fundamental level it is possible to have many more insights to elevate her.

#3 – Know when you work best

regra3

Understanding the rhythm of work helps to better manage time. Within hours of their work, which you are most willing to do a certain activity? What is the worst time to do it? It’s time to understand your own internal motivation cycle – and breaks, what drives or interfere.

#4 – Routine your life

regra4

Many fear the word “routine.” But it is a natural sequel to rule above: when you discover your (biological, psychological) work rhythm, the result is a pattern of ups and downs. Of course, even for freelancer life, job and everything depends not only on their schedule. We live in society and we need to work together with other individuals, so it’s all about to get cycles harmonized.

#5 – “No” is the New “Yes”

REGRA5

When you open your heart and say “Yes” is beautiful and necessary. But knowing how to say it is NO essential. It happens to all of us: new opportunities appear with huge pottencial of distracting the subject. Be it in a micro scale: a party, a conversation, facebook; or macro scale: new business, parallel activities of other Jobs …

Know when to say no.

#6 – Rules? GTFO

REGRA6

Rules were made to be broken. In fact, all these wonderful posts that list 5, 10, 20 rules on productivity, creativity, time management, and etc work for a single reason: to experience. Not everything that is written here will work for you. But what we are sharing is what works for our yellow house.

What about you? What is working for you? 😉
