Do vintage ao retrô, bring back the good old days!

Não sei quanto a vocês, mas confesso ter uma queda pelo vintage. O clássico original, peças que marcaram uma época e até hoje chamam a atenção,  influenciam  pelas características marcantes e representam as mais diversas personalidades. Produto de tempos passados, o vintage é  algo de qualidade que foi produzido pelas necessidades daquele determinado momento da sociedade. Cada composição grita história!

Prova disso é a quantidade de produtos retrô que vem sendo produzidos que, “ao contrário das reedições, trata-se de uma reinterpretação atual de características históricas do design. Os produtos lembram os seus predecessores, mas, ao mesmo tempo, sua linguagem de produto não deixa dúvidas de que eles provêm da atualidade. De forma simbólica, são referências ao passado e ao presente.” escreveu Beat Schneider em Design – Uma Introdução (Ed. Blucher, p. 206). Quanto saudosismo! 🙂

Poderíamos sentar na varanda e tomar uma cuia, batendo um  papo interminável sobre movimentos estéticos, comportamentos e tudo mais. Uma pena, no entanto, que a apesar da proposta ser tentadora, o tempo aqui seja curto.

Vamos direto ao ponto que eu sei que vocês curtem: ilustrações. Mais especificamente, ilustrações para crianças, feitas em meados dos anos 40 até os anos 70. Um grupo colaborativo no Flickr, The Retro Kid, propõe um espaço para unir as mais diversas imagens antigas, seja em comerciais, revistas, jogos, brinquedos e afins, desde que feito para crianças. Tem zilhões de páginas, uma composição mais interessante que a outra (todo meu amor para a tipografia).

Separei algumas pra vocês mas já dou a dica de que vale a pena dar uma olhada por lá.
