Um pouco dos primórdios da animação! “Harem Scarem” e “Fantasmagorie”

Staff Picks / posted by in 3 Jul of 2012

A relic left the bottom of the trunk of the magical world of Walt Disney!

Yahoo News got from D23 , one of the largest Disney´s fan clubs, the sketches of one of the first animation made by the guy, until then never released. Mickey Mouse did not even exist. 85 years ago, when Disney was just a non-famous animator, he made a mini animation of Oswald ,the Lucky Rabbit. The fan club people gathered the sketches in the middle of a bunch of paperwork (more than 100 drawings), and released the cartoon “Harem Scarem”, exclusive to Yahoo! site.

This was the first, and during the 1920s and 1930s he released a few short-films and books of Oswald. For those who do not know:

And speaking of beginnings is worth to highlight that the first animation ever made is from 1908, the Fantasmagorie … and it was not from Walt Disney, but the french Émile Cohl. Very interesting, and already using the technique of metamorphosis, where an object is transformed into another and flipping the head of any child with a minimum amount of imagination.
